Going to St. Ives

As I was going to St. Ives
I met a man with seven wives.
Every wife had seven sacks,
Every sack had seven cats,
Every cat had seven kits.
Kits, cats, sacks, and wives,
How many were going to St. Ives?

Arts and Crafts

Pencil Crayons: green, orange & purple -- give your toddler some green, orange & purple pencil crayons to color with.  Show the color green first and talk about things that are green.  Then let your toddler color with orange and talk about objects that are orange.  Then do the same with purple.  Your toddler could create 3 different drawings.  One all green, one all orange and the other all purple.  Finally let your toddler color with all 3 crayons on the same piece of paper.  Display the artwork in a prominent place.
